Where there are drums there is life! From the earliest caveman days drums were the heartbeat of communication between people . . .The essential link that enabled us to cross vast distances; to reach out and touch someone! With the drum we were not alone anymore!
Drums came before tlelphones and telegraph, before semafore, before Morse code, perhaps even before fire! They are our pulse as a race, ever-beating in rhythm to our souls yearning to be heard and understood and counted..
Drums are our very experience as living beings shouting out to be noticed in a vastness no one can explain or understand. I drum - therefore I AM!
